Description

Chaste Tree relieves premenstral tension (PMT) characterised by breast tenderness, abdominal bloating, mood changes and feelings of irritability. Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to decrease menstrual cycle irregularities.

Indications

• Relief of premenstrual tension (PMT) characterised by breast tenderness, abdominal bloating,  mood changes and feelings of irritability
• Chaste Tree is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to: 
  - decrease menstrual cycle irregularities
  - relieve night sweats and hot flushes associated with menopause

Dosage and Administration

Adults: 1 tablet 1-4 times daily.

Warnings, Cautions and Contraindications

• Chaste tree may aggravate pure spasmodic dysmenorrhoea not associated with premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
• Vitex agnus-castus (Chaste Tree) may affect hormones and medications such as oral contraceptives.
• Use cautiously during pregnancy and only in the early stages.
• Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
• If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.
