Milk Kefir Smoothie

If you are looking for a wonderful smoothie recipe for hot days, this is it! It combines the wonderful probiotic benefits of milk kefir, with acacia fibre for prebiotics as well! Blend, serve, and enjoy on those hot days. This recipe came to us from Veronica in the Gut Health Guru’s Facebook Group!

 

Ingredients: 

 

- 1 cup of Milk Kefir

- 100g of frozen berries

- 1 tps of Acacia Fibre


 

Method:


  1. Mix together all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until it’s a consistency that you like! You can also add in other wonderful ingredients like, Kakadu Plum for a sour kick that is rich in Vitamin C, Baobab powder for another serving of prebiotic fibre and antioxidants, or even some Chaga mushroom elixir for antioxidants! The options are endless!
