I like being able to see the temperature of my Kefir. The stick in thermometer is great for this as long as you are using the largest Kefir bottle sold here, and you plan to only wash your bottle carefully by hand.

The kefiko maker has certainly made the process easier and the jars are gorgeous on the bench. I’ve always put off making kefir but this purchase got me going. I’ve made the cheese also which was super easy and great to add to breakfasts. All in all a great product.
