Immunity Boosting Smoothie

Looking for a new smoothie recipe to give your immune system a boost? If so, this is it! With milk kefir for probiotics, Kakadu plum powder for prebiotics, and fruits and vegetables for fibre, this smoothie has it all! This delicious smoothie will keep your immune system healthy all year long. This recipe came to us from Lindel in the Gut Health Guru’s Facebook Group

Ingredients: 

- ½ of an avocado

- Small handful of spinach

- 1 inch cucumber

- ¼ of an apple 

- Blueberries

- ½ a banana

- ¼ of a lemon

- 1 inch of ginger

- Coconut water

- Stevia to taste

- Splash of flaxseed oil

- Milk Kefir to taste (use this kit to create your own!)

- ½ teaspoon of barley grass

-½ teaspoon of Kakadu Plum Powder (for extra immunity benefits!)

Method:

  1. Mix everything into a blender and enjoy!
