Description:
Senna is most commonly known for its laxative properties and is a short term treatment for constipation.
May be useful for but not limited to:
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
- People with Haemorrhoid complaints.
- May help relieve constipation.
Cautions or Contraindication:
Senna should not be taken during pregnancy or lactation. Seek medical advice before using Senna.
Serving Suggestions:
1 teaspoon of Senna per 1 cup of near-boiling water. Steep for 10 -15mins. Sweeten with honey if desired.
Take at night in preparation for morning bowel movement.
