If you are looking for a delicious, healthy, and refreshing treat, you’re going to love this ice cream! It is made with milk kefir and kefir cheese so you know that it is full of probiotics to improve your gut health! You can top this with the wonderful Rhubarb Jam to get more prebiotics into your diet as well! This recipe came to us from Joanne in the Gut Health Gurus Facebook Group!
-1 cup of macadamia nuts
-1 cup of milk kefir
-½ cup kefir cheese
-¾ cup cream
-1 vanilla bean scraped
-1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp of chia seeds
- ¼ cup roasted macadamia nuts
- cup of raspberries
- Combine the first 6 ingredients into a blender
- Blend and then chill in the refrigerator
- Churn it and when it is almost frozen add ¼ cup roasted, chopped macadamia nuts, chia seeds and the cup of raspberries!
