Peribiotics (peri meaning ‘all encompassing’) is a new category of gut-health support that can simultaneously and positively affect gut cells and ‘good’ bacteria in the digestive environment (microbiome)*.

Specifically, Vernx Peribiotics are made with a proprietary spore-forming strain of the ‘good’ bacteria, Bacillus subtilis (BG01-4TM). Our strain naturally contains branched fats, which are an abundant fatty acid found in vernix caseosa which in turn is sloughs off the skin and is ingested by the developing foetus. Essentially, branched fats are the key components of your first meal as a baby. These branched fats support the development of gut cells, leading to a healthy immune system and additionally contributes to the foundational phase in the establishment of the microbiome*.

Vernx Daily Peribiotics is recommended for adults and children (5+ years of age) with:

HOW TO USE

Compared with other peribiotic products

I tried Adepa (1 mth) straight after 1 mth of Gut Repair from MyBrainCo. Despite a conscientious natural diet, my pre-treatment symptoms were high food sensitivity & bloating, constipation, fatigue, and low mood. I was also recovering from a recent pylori infection (treated). The MyBrainCo. Gut Repair product correlated to almost instant improvement. Having read about Adepa as well, I decided to try that next. On Adepa, I noticed a change in stool composition and light colour, but my symptoms began to return enough to doubt whether Adepa was providing any benefit (2 weeks in). On further research, I changed my diet exclude lectin (along with wheat & lactose already excluded) which seemed to substantially reduce symptoms again and stool compostion returned to normal. I am about to try Gundry's Bio Complete 3 next.
