3. It enhances the absorption of minerals, particularly calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, phosphorous and copper.
4. Healthy gut flora improves digestion, fights candida overgrowth, improves mental clarity and stabilizes moods.

The scoby was delivered quickly with excellent instructions. I now have a nine litre kombucha crock producing beautifully and am able to give scobies and instructions to friends. Kombucha has completely replaced alcohol for us so the health benefits have been extraordinary

Confused but keen to start

Thanks for your videos on this website. I am a novice but after feeling good buying store-bought Kombucha and feeling the pocket pinch ($5 a bottle!) I am keen to learn to make my own. The only thing is that I am super scared I will screw up the process, grow a colony of unfriendly microbes by accident, drink it and give myself gastro or something. How can I be sure the batch doesn't become contaminated?
