Early-harvest extra virgin olive oil from Central Victoria’s Golden Triangle, paired with savoury garlic. A small-batch, Australian-grown pantry staple for dressings, drizzling, dipping and gentle cooking.
Central Victorian olive oil with a savoury garlic edge
Golden Triangle olive oil comes from a family grove on the river flats of the Loddon River, in the heart of Victoria’s historic goldfields. Mineral-rich volcanic soils and a Mediterranean-style climate suit olive growing. The grove grows six Mediterranean varieties: Manzanilla, Leccino, Frantoio, Pendolino, Barnea and Picual.
Harvested early for fresh, fruity flavour
The olives are picked from April, earlier than most Australian groves. Younger fruit yields less oil but gives a fresher, greener, fruitier flavour. The oil is first cold pressed. Garlic is then added for a rounded, savoury finish without chopping, peeling or garlicky fingers.
How to use it
- Whisk into vinaigrettes and salad dressings
- Pour into a shallow dish with sea salt for bread dipping
- Toss through pasta for a quick aglio e olio
- Brush over sourdough before toasting for instant garlic bread
- Drizzle over roast vegetables, grilled fish, lamb or steak just before serving
- Add to marinades, hummus, dips and homemade aioli
- Use for gentle sautéing over low-to-medium heat. Add it towards the end of cooking to keep the garlic notes bright.
A note on cold weather
Extra virgin olive oil can turn cloudy or thicken in cold conditions. This is natural and doesn’t affect quality. Leave the bottle at room temperature and it will clear.

FAQ
Is this real extra virgin olive oil?
Yes. The base oil is first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from Golden Triangle’s own grove in Central Victoria. Garlic is added for flavour.
Can I cook with garlic olive oil?
Yes, over low-to-medium heat. Its flavour is at its best uncooked or added near the end of cooking. Garlic notes can turn bitter at high heat, so use a neutral oil for searing or deep-frying.
Why has my olive oil gone cloudy?
Extra virgin olive oil naturally clouds or thickens in the cold. Bring it back to room temperature and it will clear. Quality is unaffected.
Does it contain pieces of garlic?
No. The oil is strained, so there are no garlic pieces in the bottle
How should I store it?
Keep it sealed in a cool, dark cupboard away from the stove. Light, heat and air dull olive oil’s flavour over time.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The ingredients are olive oil and garlic, with no animal-derived ingredients.
