I'm only a few weeks in, but I'm enjoying making water kefir. I find the kefirko jug really practical. It makes the whole process really straight forward and time efficient.

I'm giving 4 stars because there's inconsistent information between the emailed instructions and the kefirko instructions. There's also not enough info between them about when to increase liquid volume/reduce the number of grains as they multiply. I can't tell if they're just fully hydrated, or if I need to get rid of some.

I would also love to see measurements along the side of the glass jug. I measure in a different jug and then tip it in which seems like an unnecessary step.

So far, so good

The product look good and seems to work. My review is down because the instructions are poor. Finding out the finer detail for making and storing the product, requires a trawl through the website, and even then I felt the it was a "touch and feel" exercise. Example, is it better to remove the bacterial to wash the container every time, or do I keep adding until I'm ready to stop for a time. a more detailed workflow would be appreciated.

Great Kit

This is a great little kit that has everything you need to start on a kefir journey. The funky lid is so much better than cheesecloth which I used previously.
The kit arrived quickly, was well packed with easy to read instructions. If you are new to kefir, this is an easy way to start the journey.
