Poor gut health can lead to weight gain, stomach issues and even trouble with your mental health.

Here are three simple ways to improve your gut health.

1. Go organic

By simply switching to organic food you'll avoid many of the artificial chemicals and substances that disrupt gut health. That means spending more time at the farmers market and less time at the supermarket.

2. Focus on fibre from plant foods

Many gut health researchers advocate a focus on having a wide range of plant foods in your diet. The greater the number of different plant foods the better for your gut health.
