Received a very fast delivery of 5gm of Kefir grains 2 weeks ago from NourishMe Organics. Immediately started the procedure to make following instructions. Now, 2 weeks later grains have increased to 50gm and I am enjoying the deliciousness of homemade milk kefir daily. Usually do a second ferment of around 2 hours. Experimented with blueberries, vanilla bean pod, cardamom seeds, cinnamon stick in the second ferments. Initially 1st ferment took up to 36-48hrs and now it’s reduced to 24hrs. Loving Milk Kefir, highly recommend NourishMe Organics🤩
Hi kriben, all is going well I have made several kefir batches so far and have got the hang of it now and l am very happy with how it's going. I have also bottled my first kombucha and made a second fermente with some mango in the bottle 👍😊

I have bought Coconut water Kefir grains a few time over the years, the grains are consistently at great quality, easy to grow, ferment the coconut water.
This is my first time using kefir grains and working with this ancient SCOBY is absolutely delightful! I have made some excellent kefir and also drained the whey to make some delicious kefir cheese. It did take me a little bit to get used to the sour flavour but now it is so refreshing and a great fermented food to add to the diet. I find myself even craving kefir now! The grains are beautiful and after feeding them, have increased in size. I didn't use any colostrum or feeding formula to start off with and just used milk and that was enough to keep them happy and feeding nicely. I don't particularly use the recipe book as I find that adding anything else just dilutes the original taste of kefir and I prefer the original taste now. Would recommend to anyone who would like to add a fermented food to their diet and also learn a new skill and work with LIVE cultures. When you have respect and reverence for your food, it translates into your health so using kefir grains has allowed me to further develop my relationship with food like I didn't have before.
Use it as a basic salt at the end of cooking, also use to rehydrate, you take a bit on the tongue and sip water, it helps to rehydrate the body (especially if I’m not drinking enough water during the day)
