I haven't been able to find plain (unroasted) organic chicory root powder anywhere else in the world (unless you're a business buying bulk). There is one company in the USA called Microinhredients that I bought from, but they're fraudulent -- selling blue agave inulin in their "chicory root" powder bags. Why is this stuff so hard to find? Must be because of the amazing health benefits, and the powers that be don't want us healthy.
So happy I finally decided to purchase some live keffir have been enjoying a good brew daily since .. thanks guys these jars make it so much easier to do the whole process .. both cultures were ready to go on arrival too.

These are just what I was after. I like hw it is small packaging for the small tabs.
I'm finding this kombucha more challenging to work with, but the end result is delicious and I'm enjoying the process of discovery along the way. I'm still yet to get a fizz from the second ferment, but it's super delicious any way so I'm happy with the result.

I have already refilled my kombucha maker three times. making delicious kombucha using the continuous brewing method. It is easy to use and makes enough kombucha for the five of us to enjoy, but it still fits easily on our kitchen counter top without taking up too much space.
