Fermented Plum Hot Sauce

If you are looking to switch up your fermented hot sauce with a unique spin, this is the recipe for you! This is a plum hot sauce that is full of fatalii chilli (very spicy!). It is a beautiful blend of fermented goodness. This recipe came to us from Emma in the Gut Health Guru’s Facebook Group!




- 2kg plums

- 200g fatalii chili

- 5 cm ginger sliced

- 8 medium garlic cloves

- 150g Himalayan rock salt



  1. Cut veggies up and put them into quality jars. 
  2. Cover completely with water and place pickle pebbles on top (or you can buy this full fermentation kit!)
  3. Ferment for 3-7 days and then puree after fermentation, place in the refrigerator, and enjoy!
