About your teacher: Kriben Govender, is a Food Scientist, Registered Nutritionist and Founder of
Nourishme Organics, a company specialising in Gut Health and Mitochondrial health-focused products and
Allele Microbiome – a provider of cutting edge Metagenomic Stool Testing and Deuterium Testing.
Kriben holds a honours degree in Applied Science (Food Science and Technology) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology and Nutrition Society of Australia.
With more than 20 years of Food industry experience in the field of Research and Development, Quality Assurance and Procurement, Kriben intimately understands the food supply chain and the interaction between diet and the gut microbiome. He has personally visited more than 100 food processing sites across the world.
Kriben is an expert in the art of making fermented foods like Kefir, Kombucha and fermented vegetable etc and was a Judge in the 2019 RASV Australia Food Awards.
He is the host of one of Australia's leading Nutrition Podcasts - The Gut Health Gurus Podcast https://www.podcast.nourishmeorganics.com.au/ where he frequently interviews health experts from around the world.
Around 8 years ago, Kriben's life imploded. He was extremely depressed, overweight and lacking in energy and vibrancy. He found himself alone in an apartment, ready to end his life. A combination of workplace bullying, stress, a struggle with anxiety and depression and a collapsed marriage resulted in a sense of worthlessness. For the sake of his 3 young boys, Kriben soldiered on and discovered the importance of gut health on his mental wellbeing. He found inspiration in the work of Dr Natasha Campbell McBride through here book Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS): Natural Treatment for Autism, Dyspraxia, A.D.D., Dyslexia, A.D.H.D., Depression, Schizophrenia. He started to follow a GAPS diet, make homemade fermented foods like kefir, kombucha and sauerkraut, adopted a transcendental meditation (TM) and yoga practice, attended cognitive behaviour therapy sessions with a psychologist, learned the Meisner and Alexander acting techniques - all which helped him overcome his struggle with anxiety and depression. With this newfound knowledge, he launched Nourishme Organics to help others heal their bodies via Gut Health.
Kriben then went on to found Allele Microbiome- a company focused on bringing cutting edge metagenomic DNA based stool testing to the public. He has been greatly inspired by the work of Dr Jack Kruse, Dr Gabor Somlyai, Dr Laszlo Boros and Prof Doug Wallace which let him explore the importance of Mitochondrial Health on overall health. Recently he has introduced Australia's first direct to public urine and saliva deuterium test and is in the process of launching Low D- A Deuterium Depleted Glacial Spring Water to optimise mitochondrial function.
Kriben is available for face to face or online nutrition consulting with a particular focus on Gut and Mitochondrial optimisation at The Nourishme Organics shop in Cheltenham, Melbourne. VIC.
He is also available for speaking engagements, interviews and podcasts. Please contact us to make a booking.

I use a teaspoon of crystals in a shot glass of filtered water after Pilates classes. It is a slightly unpleasant taste so follow it up with an orange juice. I never get sore muscles and my recovery is faster using MSM.
There would not be a nutritional/integrated health webinar in the last 15 years I have listened to, that has not mentioned the benefits and importance of beef liver, for human health. Dr Eric Berg (type his name and add beef liver in your search) has many articles and videos to support your research or the Weston A Price Foundation has numerous online articles too. Sally Fallon Morrell’s book Nourishing Traditions also provides reams of information about liver as a powerhouse food. For ease of use we take desiccated liver capsules in the morning with breakfast. Our children do not like raw liver cooked up but will swallow the small beef liver capsules with orange juice. We use this superfood for supporting our nutrition intake.
This powder got me through an anaphylactic reaction to my 1st dose of antibiotics in 80 years.
I was suffering terribly with a reaction to Sulphites in an antibiotic which I had no choie but to take at the time, and broke out in hives, difficlties in breathing, pains in the ribcage, a foul metallic taste in the LHS of my mouth, swollen veins and very tender soles of my feet. The DE with it’s 74% Silica content plus much more, kept my body from completely breaking down and into a very fast recovery once the Sulphites had left the system.
Thank you to Nourishme Organics for supplying such top quality food grade D.E. _ a very happy consumer, ljb, from Bateau Bay NSW

These bottles are great. They’re the perfect size so I can take them to work, a picnic, away for the weekend & they easily fit in a dark part of a cupboard to ferment. This is my second batch of bottles (we broke a couple) and I bought some extra spare lids too - sometimes they accidentally get thrown out by other people blah blah so it’s handy to have spares. Great products, quick delivery, love them!
Amazing results in very short amount of time. Regular cleansing is the best way, although, it feels good to see results from the very start, which this product delivers. Make sure your detox pathways are open before you start using it, so that the toxins can flow out quickly. (Including 2-3 bowel movements a day, decent sweating, etc.) I needed to drink a liter(!) more per day on those days, but it's okay, that's exactly how it works best.
I didn't use the amount of biotoxin binder it recommends for the advanced cleansing, because that would have been too much for me, but everyone is different and you'll probably know your own body's toxicity level well by that stage. For best results: start small, start well and stay consistent! Good luck!
